John was truly a wonderful gentleman.  I was part of a chairty committee and we were let down at the last moment for someone to run the auction.  Without hesitation John stepped up to the plate.  We didn’t let on to the guests at the dinner that he was an auctioneer and he played along as if he didn’t know what he was doing, but boy when he got going, he bought the house down and we raised a lot of money that night.  John you were great company, your personality was infectious and I’m proud to have known you.
